We offer multidisciplinary care, working closely with the Medical and Radiation Oncologists and the Gastroenterologists. We are also very active in our weekly Tumor Board, where our tumor patients are discussed and options for treatment explored.

Evaluation and management of abnormal mammograms and suspicious masses
Ultrasound in our office, with needle biopsy if indicated
Breast conservation surgery
Mastectomies (we work with a Plastic Surgeon if reconstruction is indicated)
Sentinel node excision
Axillary node dissection
Mammosite (partial breast irradiation— Dr. Naruns was the first surgeon in this
area to do this, and has the largest experience)
Rubicor (minimally invasive office excision of benign tumors)
Minimally invasive lumpectomies

Colon and Rectal
Open and laparoscopic resections
Sphincter—sparing rectal surgery
Minimally invasive transanal removal of rectal tumors (TEM procedure) — only ones in area doing this procedure

Gastrointestinal
Resection of tumors of the stomach, small bowel, colon (open and laparoscopic)
Pancreatic resections

Melanoma and Sarcomas — Dr. Naruns has Fellowship training for these tumors
Primary excision and sentinel node mapping, lymph node dissection
